2006 TSA
National Conference in Dallas, Texas |

June 21-June 26, 2006
This
year’s national conference took place at the Adams Mark Hotel in downtown
Dallas. We had 115 people participating from WV.
TSA members flew to
Dallas from Charleston and Pittsburgh airports, arriving early afternoon.
Students from WV entered over
100 different events, and were kept busy throughout the week competing and
visiting some of the sites in the Dallas area.
West Virginia did very
well in the competitions, with 53 individuals or team members placing in
the top ten out of a total of 87 students attending! That is
equivalent to a 61% finalist rate! Go WV TSA!! We
also brought home 7 trophies in the Top 3, and Morgantown HS placed 2nd
in High School Formula 1 Teams in Schools! |
