2011 TSA National Conference

Dallas, TX

June 21 - June 25, 2011

The 2011 National TSA Conference was held from June 21st to June 25th at the spectacular Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas in the greater Dallas area. During this annual conference over sixty middle and high school technology based student competitions were held. Leadership training sessions, a career and education fair, and a program sponsored by TSA's national service partner, the American Cancer Society also took place. Approximately 4000 people from all across the country attended.

In addition to the shops, restaurants, and fun water park within the Gaylord Resort, students also attended the American League Champions, Texas Rangers, against the New York Mets in Dallas on Friday, June 24, 2011. Some chapters took in a local rodeo and others toured the site where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The conference was an exciting event for all participants.

WV TSA is proud of placing 2nd in MS Techno Talk and several additional top ten placements.
