After canceling it for a year, the Fall Conference was back in a smaller version, with only 10 students from any chapter. All
activities were held in Jackson Hall, with each chapter working together.
Officers gave PowerPoint presentations on Public Speaking, Fund Raising, and many others. Many fun activities were used to teach leadership skills and teamwork. One of the most fun was the
outdoor Leadership Reaction Course, where groups had to perform physical challenges with their teammates.
On Saturday, the state officers conducted hands-on workshops to train each chapter officer in the duties involved in their specific
office. The Red Cross discussed our involvement with them in a
joint service project, and then everyone packed up for the trip
home. It was a great weekend, and everyone seemed to learn a lot.
